English Premier League side Arsenal is reported to be in pursuit of Real Madrid midfielder Marcos Llorente ahead of the winter transfer window which reopens in coming weeks.
It is also believed that the Gunners are not alone in the race as Liverpool who is also in dire need of a midfielder are in the race as well with both sides looking to complete the deal in January
The North London is hoping the Egyptian midfielder stays but should he insist on leaving the Emirates Stadium, the Gunners will be ready to spend big on Marcos Llorente as the race for the Premier League hots up.
Marcos Llorente has been impressive for his side this season and also contributed his bit in ensuring that Real Madrid clinches the Champions League title last season.
He has got the experience even at a young age of 23 and has also played at a top level which will be an added advantage should he switch over to the Premier League.
However, there are no assurances that Marcos Llorente will be allowed to leave the Bernabeu anytime soon knowing that he is a bulk of asset who can also form a part of the club’s future.
