Manchester United defender Eric Bailly is on his way to the Spanish La Liga if reports from Spain are anything to go by ahead of the winter transfer window which reopens in January.
According to the report, he is being wanted by Spanish outfit Espanyol as they are set to make a bid for him in January.
With the Spanish side seeming to lose central defender Mario Hermoso to Real Madrid, Espanyol have penned down their ex-youth player for a return back knowing that he has not had enough playing time at the Old Trafford.
Eric Bailly is reported to be seeking a move away as he is hungry for a first-team football which can no longer be guaranteed under manager Jose Mourinho.
Should he accept a move, there are fears United will have to lower their £30 million fees they invested to bring in Eric Bailly to make the move work through as Espanyol might be unable to meet that demand.
Meanwhile, the Red Devils Portuguese manager will no doubt sanction the move for Eric Bailly as he is keen for new defenders having lost faith in his current crop.
The Red Devils have struggled with form this season as they are battling to win games.
