Abramovich to rival Liverpool in race for £65m-rated player

Chelsea joins Liverpool in the race for Christian Pulisic

Borussia Dortmund may be about to lose their young star, Christian Pulisic, who made it into the senior team in 2016.

Despite being just 19 years old, the wonder teen has performed so well in the Dortmund senior team and even in the Bundesliga at large.

However, Germany international, Jurgen Klopp had wanted to bring him over to Anfield some seasons ago but had held back as he wanted him to still acquire more experience but Liverpool may have had a change of decision especially when they played against Dortmund in the preseason games.

The interest seems to have resurrected once again and the Reds may be looking to table an offer to Dortmund before the close of the transfer window.

Apart from Liverpool, Abramovich and Sarri led Chelsea squad are already interested in the young star especially with Brazil international, Willian on his way out of Stamford Bridge.

Should Liverpool sign the 19-year-old, it is unlikely he will be a regular at the club due to the presence of numerous players but on the part of Chelsea, he might make it to the senior team.

Borussia Dortmund have valued him at £65 million, which remain unclear if any of Liverpool or Chelsea will be prepared to pay.
