Los Blancos drop £200 million Belgium forward because they don’t want to mess with Chelsea
European champions, Real Madrid have been previously linked with Chelsea and Belgium forward, Eden Hazard.
The Spanish club had hope to bring the Belgium point man to Madrid and have him as a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, who left Spain after nine years for Italy where he joined Juventus.
However, the Blues had inflated Hazard transfer fee and were not willing to accept any amount lower than £200 million which is an amount Real Madrid were unwilling to pay.
Apart from Eden Hazard, Real Madrid have been linked with Brazil international, Neymar Jnr., France star, Kylian Mbappe and Uruguay star man, Edison Cavani, but none of the deal came through.
However, Real Madrid in a recent statement disclosed why they drop the deal to sign Eden Hazard as they stated they didn’t want to mess with Chelsea because the Blues intentionally refused to lower the price.
Despite this, former Spain coach, Julen Lopetegui is still interested in signing three big players, which must include a centre-back, midfielder and striker.
With the La Liga transfer window still to be open for the next one month, Real Madrid dream of getting new players is assured.
