Manchester United are seeking to snap up PSV Eindhoven winger Steven Bergwijn before the January winter transfer window comes to an end.
The Sun reports that the Red Devils have identified the star player as a major part of the team and are willing to pay the sum of £25 million to seal the deal before the end of the month.
Steven Bergwijn has been impressive for PSV Eindhoven so far this season which adds to his nine goals in 16 league games which makes him attracted to the Old Trafford side.
It reported that manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen on the star winger and he is ready to approach the board to ensure his signature in the coming days.
Also, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is understood to be ready to send scouts to watch Steven Bergwijn and return with feedback that will enable a better analysis of his value.
Suggestions are that Steven Bergwijn will jump at any offer in order to switch to the Premier League as he has dreamed of having a career there.
However, the Old Trafford side are looking forward to replacing Anthony Martial who is keen to move away from the club, having refused to sign a deal extension.
