Done deal! Liverpool have €67m bid for ‘confident starman’ accepted

Update: Liverpool have completed €67m deal for Alisson Becker.

AS Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker has been in the news consistently in recent times due to his links with the premier league duo of Liverpool and Chelsea.

The latest being said about him right now is that Jurgen Klopp’s side have submitted a second 66.8 Million pounds offer for him, and his current side deem the offer acceptable.

It was also added that the Serie A side would actually want Maurizio Sarri’s Chelsea to come in with a higher bid if they are to get the goalkeeper’s signature this summer, suggesting that Alisson is bound to move to Anfield if the Blues fail to take another step anytime soon.

Alisson has been a target for Liverpool even before their Champions League final against Real Madrid at Kiev.

While some were thinking the Anfield club only started chasing the Brazilian after Loris Karius’ errors against Real Madrid, the fact is they have been after him for several months.

Fabrizio Romano made it known that Jurgen Klopp’s side have submitted a second offer to bring him over to Anfield this summer, and it is worth £66.8m.

Another Italian journalist – Gianluca Di Marzio – even revealed that the Brazilian could have his move to Merseyside confirmed: “in the next few days.”

If Liverpool should indeed sign Alisson for £66.8M, the South American goalie will become the most expensive shot-stopper in football history.
