Lucas Torreira is allegedly in the City of London for medical examination to seal his move to North London giants Arsenal on Monday after the exit of Uruguay from the Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup.

The Sampdoria star shone like million stars for the South American side at the global showpiece in Russia, though they were eliminated by Antonio Griezman inspired Les Blues of France at the last eight stage of the tournament.
Torreira had a good game against Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo when Uruguay eliminated Portugal in the round of 16, and he seems like a promising signing for the Gunners.
Torreira, 22, has now informed Telenoche, as cited by British publication Metro, that he is on his way to the beautiful City of London to complete his transfer deal at the Emirates Stadium.

The Metro also stated that Arsenal wanted the player to fly back and sort things out after Uruguay’s FIFA World Cup exit, so supporters can hope to hear formal confirmation of the side’s fourth signing this summer before too long.
