Chelsea Target Could Leave Roma In January
Italian Serie A giants AS Roma are open to the idea of selling highly-rated forward Cengiz Under when the upcoming transfer window reopens in a few weeks time.
The Turkish international player has emerged as an important member of the AS Roma squad since he signed for the Italian capital club in the summer of 2017.
According to the publication from trusted Italian news outlet calciomercato, AS Roma could be tempted to sell the 21-year-old in the event that a big bid comes in for him.
Cengiz Under has been linked with several European heavyweights ahead of the January transfer window.
German champions Bayern Munich as well as the Premier League duo of Chelsea and Arsenal are some of the clubs that have been linked with the Turkish player.
Previous reports had claimed that Under won’t leave Roma in the New Year.
The aforementioned publication is certain that Roma director Monchi will sanction the sale of the player if a tempting offer is made for him.
Cengiz Under joined AS Roma from Turkish side Bursaspor during last summer’s transfer window and he was part of the team that surprisingly reached the semifinals of the Champions League before they were beaten by Liverpool.
