Demarai Gray liverpool transfer news

Liverpool are considering a summer move Leicester City winger Demarai Gray, according to reports.

The youngster has been a bit-part player for the Foxes this season, despite showing glimpses of what he can do on the few occasions he has been called upon.

The 20-year-old has made only two full appearances and is frustrated at his lack of chances, sparking interest from several clubs in the Premier League.

The likes of Everton and Tottenham Hotspur are understood to battling Liverpool for Demarai’s signature as they might all try to lure him to out of the King Power with promise of better first team opportunities.

Reports in the Daily Mail have it that the young winger who joined the Foxes from Birmingham, has a £22million release clause in his Leicester contract and the interested parties are understood to considering meeting his clause this summer.

Revealing his frustrations, Demarai once said: “I have been frustrated, like every player would, we all think we should be playing when we’re not.

“I’ve got to respect the manager’s decision and hopefully I can keep myself in the team. I’ve had to wait until now, I’ve just got to do my stuff when I get the chance.

“It is not a nice feeling when you are not selected, but that’s how it goes. When I’ve had to come off the bench I’ve tried my best to impact the team.

“I’ve got good people around me so I just have to keep working hard in training.”
