Naby Keita is joining Liverpool this summer, and it appears his teammates at RB Leipzig are wishing to be in his shoes.
One of them – in the person of Timo Werner – has dropped some hints that he is set to follow the midfielder to Anfield.
Timo joined RB Leipzig about two years ago and has been impressive at the Bundesliga side, scoring 42 times in 77 appearances made so far.
The Germany international has evolved into one of the best forwards in the continent and will be travelling to Russia with the rest of the German guys for the World Cup.
His impressive performances at Leipzig have caught the attention of various top English clubs, and he has been linked with Liverpool in particular.
Last year, the Anfield club finalised a deal for his teammate Naby Keita, and it appears the German is hoping to join the Guinean at Anfield too…
Speaking recently to newsmen, Timo said it is necessary to join ‘an even better team’, just like Keita, to become a world-class player.
