According to media reports, Premier League giants Manchester United are willing to pay big on securing the signature of Diogo Dalot from Portuguese side FC Porto this summer transfer window.
Man United set to rival Euro giants for the teenager
The Times, as cited by Metro, is claiming that Man United are aware of stiff competition from Euro giants like Bayern Munich and Real Madrid they look to try and land the 19-year-old this summer.
The same story says that Porto have so far failed in their bid to try and tie the teenager down to a fresh deal and that his £17.5m buyout clause becomes active in the next coming days.
New signings expected at Old Trafford
However, it is also suggested that the Red Devils are now set to pay more than that amount to ensure that the starlet moves to Old Trafford this summer window.
The FA Cup beaten finalists are thought to be in the market for a number of new players this summer window as they look to assemble a team good enough to win the title next term.
United ended up in the second position in the English top flight table last campaign and without a silverware in manager Jose Mourinho’s second season in charge.
The former Premier League champions have not won the League Crown since their final success under former boss Alex Ferguson back in 2013.
