The Sun is claiming that Arsenal are prepared to sell the Wales international midfielder this summer transfer window to avoid a repeat of the contract sagas involving Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil.

Aaron Ramsey was one of the Gunners best performers in the second stanza of the campaign but he is yet to sign a fresh contract with Arsenal and his current deal is set to run out at the end of next season.

As per to the same article, the North Londoners are keen not to be held to ransom once again and they will look to sell Aaron Ramsey this summer transfer window if the midfielder refuses to commit to a fresh contract.

The Arsenal midfielder is allegedly aware of interest from other teams and he would be expecting a major pay increase on his present £100,000-weekly wages.

The Wales international found the net 11 times and created nine assists across all competitions for the Gunners this campaign.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are still looking for a new head coach as they look to find a replacement to manager Arsene Wenger at the Emirates Stadium.
