According to new reports, Chelsea have finally accepted Manchester United’s deal for Willian.
The Brazil international has been in the news consistently in recent times due to his links with the red devils, and it seems he is actually destined to play at Old Trafford next season.
Jose Mourinho, who has signed the trio of Diogo Dalot (from FC Porto), Fred (from Shakhtar Donetsk) and goalkeeper Lee Grant (from Stoke City) so far this summer, has been pushing strongly for a reunion with Willian at Old Trafford.
Both men worked together at Stamford Bridge before Mourinho left West London, and both were able to achieve some great things together.
Willian is an experienced and talented player who will definitely add a lot of quality to Mourinho’s team at Manchester United. Last season in 55 games for Chelsea in all competitions, the South American scored 13 times and he provided 12 assists to his teammates.
The 29-year-old has 62 international caps for Brazil and was heavily involved in their recent World Cup outing in Russia.
He joined Chelsea from Anzhi Makhachkala in the summer of 2013 and has moved on to become one of the best players in the world.
And Tuttosport are reporting that Manchester United have finally had a bid accepted for Willian.
While this represents good news for Manchester United fans, many Chelsea fans won’t be too excited with this reality.
