£200m spending spree expected at Arsenal in the summer amidst uncertainties

According to British media reports, Arsenal’s next head coach is to be given a £200m recruitment budget this summer transfer window.

Massive budget expected

The Daily Star is suggesting that Arsenal are getting set to hand Wenger’s successor a huge budget to reinforce Arsenal’s squad this summer transfer window.

The Gunners are yet to name who will be their new tactician after Arsene Wenger confirmed that he will be stepping aside as Gunners manager at the conclusion of the current season.

As per the same article, however, Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri is still the Gunners preferred choice to succeed Wenger at The Emirates Stadium ahead of next campaign.

Champions league set back for Gunners

The gunners are now realizing the disappointment of missing out on a spot in next term’s UEFA Champions League after they were defeated by Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Europa League semi-finals a week ago.

Arsenal are now getting set for their home League encounter against FC Burnley at The Emirates Stadium on Sunday in what will be the Frenchman’s last home match in charge at the club.

Arsenal have struggled to challenge favourably for the English Premier League title in recent seasons, and the club have not won the title since their popular unbeaten success in the 2003-04 season.
