It’s no longer a secret that Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is keen on taking advantage of the ongoing summer transfer window to sign a new defender ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.

The Old Trafford club have been linked with various talented defenders – and one of them is Barcelona’s, Yerry Mina.

Mina has been heavily linked with a move away from Camp Nou in recent times after emerging as a target for the red devils.

He joined the Catalan giants in January but mainly warmed the bench due to the presence and fitness of the duo of Gerrard Pique and Samuel Umtiti at Barca.

However, his impressive performances at the World Cup in Russia caught the attention of various football lovers across the globe, and he has become a wanted man this summer.

The Colombian international scored 3 goals for his country despite being a defender, but he couldn’t help them move past the Round of 16 in the tournament.

However, according to reports circulating in the media, Manchester have moved to secure his services this summer.

Sport made it known that the Old Trafford club desire luring the South American to the Theater of Dreams, and they also added that other premier league sides including Liverpool and Everton are also interested in getting his signature.
