Paul Merson has sent a note of warning to Chelsea to expect lots of interest in winger Willian in the summer.
Impressive winger
The Brazil international wide man has been one of the huge positives for the Blues in a tough season for the Stamford Bridge giants.
Chelsea won the English Premier League title with two matches to spare the last term in Antonio Conte’s first season at Chelsea.
The Italian tactician used the winger sparingly in the 2016-17 campaign but the Brazilian has become a major player this season.
Willian, 29, has netted 11 goals and has made eight assists in 45 matches in all competitions in the present season.
He has been constantly linked with a transfer to Chelsea’s rivals Manchester United since appointing Jose Mourinho.
The South American attacker has also been tipped as a transfer target for the Spanish giants Barcelona.
Interests expected
Ex-Arsenal star Merson feels Chelsea should expect a lot of interest in the Brazilian at the conclusion of the season.
Merson said he would be shocked if no-suitor comes in for the Brazilian because he has been very outstanding.
The former Premier League champions will play Manchester United in the Emirates FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium later this May.
