With the current season coming to a close few weeks from now, Manchester United have been linked with a handful of top players ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.
One of the players constantly in the news for his links with the Old Trafford club is Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. There have also been some recent speculations that Manchester United have had an agreement with Sergej’s club for his signature.
According to one national news outlet, Jose Mourinho’s side had agreed a £80 Million deal to bring the Serbian international down to the Theater of dreams.
However, the player’s agent -Mateja Kezman, has broken his silence and has responded to the claims.
Kezman made it known that the rumours are simply false and that the red devils do not have an agreement with Lazio to sign the 23-year-old.
Club legend Michael Carrick is set to hang his boot at the end of this season and the club have been searching for a new superb midfielder who can replace him at Old Trafford.
Apart from Milinkovic-Savic, other star midfielders like Fred (Shakhtar Donetsk) and Jorginho (Napoli) have also been linked with Mourinho’s side.
Milinkovic-Savic has been impressive at Lazio this season and would definitely add lots of quality to Mourinho’s team should he join them this summer.
