The youngster who was celebrating his first month of action in the Premier League said his rise can be traced to watching videos of Patrick Vieira and Thierry Henry when he was younger.

He observed that he has learnt a lot from the Arsenal legends which is now playing out at the club window as a player for the future but his convincing performance, especially in the pre-season, caught Unai Emery’s attention who is now left with no choice than to start the player.

His settlement and blend into the team is an unusual one as he began training with the team immediately after penning a deal at the Emirates.

The French youngster has now started all of the four games for the Gunners this season and has been tipped to be one of the best midfielders in the league.

He told Ouest-France that he has loved and supported Arsenal as a kid and watched videos alongside his father.
