Chelsea star set to join Serie A if wage demands are met

Morata strongly linked away

Chelsea forward Alvaro Morata is being linked with a transfer away from Stamford Bridge this summer window.

A couple of clubs across Europe have been mentioned as possible destinations for the Spain international striker, who has endured a tough start to life in English football.

A number of suitors mentioned

Italian Serie A heavyweight Juventus are one team to have been strongly linked with Alvaro Morata and it looks like their interest in a summer move is real.

Massimiliano Allegri’s side are already loaded upfront but if these latest reports are true, they’d like to bring back Alvaro Morata to strengthen their attacking line.

Monetary stumbling club ahead

However, as per fresh reports from Italy, the monetary side of any move for the big striker could prove to be hard for the Serie A champions to conclude.

It’s suggested that the Spaniard is currently earning £160,000- weekly at the West London club – a fee which could be hard for the Italian side to match.

This latest development may well prove to be a major stumbling block for the Serie A club as they pursue a move for Alvaro Morata, considering the wage package he is currently enjoying at Stamford Bridge.
