Club Send Message Across About Manchester United Top Target

Atletico Madrid star player Antoine Griezmann has been constantly in the news recently – especially due to reports that he is getting closer to completing a move to Barcelona.

However, the Camp Nou club have released a statement denying the claims.

Griezmann signed an improved deal at Atletico Madrid a few months ago, but he is expected to leave Diego Simeone’s side at the end of this season.

He has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United since last year, and he was even close to joining the Old Trafford club in the summer window.

There are some speculations the red devils are set to pull the plug on their interest in Griezmann due to Alexis Sanchez’s imminent move to Old Trafford.

The former Barcelona man is getting closer to completing a deal with Manchester United, and manager Jose Mourinho recently suggested he won’t be pursuing big attackers this summer.

In Spain, there were claims Barca were keeping the No. 7 shirt for Antoine and that the player is getting closer to completing a switch to Camp Nou.

However, the Catalan giants have quickly addressed the rumour and have denied any agreement with the player’s club.

Griezmann is one of the best players in the world, and he needs more trophies to his profile before resigning from the pitch.
