Arsenal and Liverpool interest won’t affect Jack Butland – Paul Lambert

Stoke City boss Paul Lambert has suggested that goalkeeper Jack Butland will not be affected by transfer interest from North London outfit Arsenal and Liverpool.

Arsenal and Liverpool keen on Butland

Premier League giants Liverpool and Arsenal are thought to be keen on a move for the safe hand in the summer transfer window.

The England international shot-stopper could be getting prepared to represent his National team at this summer FIFA World Cup, with the first choice gloves still up for grabs.

Decent shot-stopper

The shot-stopper has kept four clean sheets in the League for Stoke City this campaign, who have been struggling seriously.

They currently occupy the 19th position on the log and are on course to go down to the English Championship when the season ends.

There were media reports that the goalie was prepared to force a move to the Emirates Stadium, but that seems to be far from the truth.

Butland is up against Everton’s Jordan Pickford for the Three Lions glove in putting pressure on West Ham loanee Joe Hart, who has lost his starting spot at the London club.

England boss Gareth Southgate might hand some clue into his thoughts when the Three Lions return to action with friendly matches against Netherlands and the Azzurri of Italy next month.
