Arsenal have submitted an official offer to land Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from German outfit Borussia Dortmund, the club’s CEO confirmed today.
Arsenal have been strongly linked with a transfer to land the 28-year-old Gabon international in recent days after the rumour about forward Alexis Sanchez’s Arsenal future.
It seems set to be a very hectic winter transfer window for the gunners, with the club having already offloaded both England international Theo Walcott and Frenchman Francis Coquelin.
The African has emerged as a target for Arsenal recently as manager Arsene Wenger ponders strengthening his attacking line-up at The Emirates Stadium.
Now, Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke has disclosed that the gunners have submitted an official bid for the attacker, although he refused to go into more detail.
He told German website, as cited by Metro that there has been a first approach from the Gunners for the 28-year-old.
