Deal Almost Agreed! Chelsea keen on beating European giants to £53.6million rated 25 year old

According to a report by El Gol Digital, Chelsea are readying a £53.6million offer for Atletico Madrid star Koke.

The Spanish outlet claim that Chelsea are confident of beating off European giants like Bayern Munich and FC Barcelona to the 25-year-old’s services, who they claim is in his last term with Spanish La Liga side Atletico, despite only having penned a new seven year deal back in May.

Koke has been a regular starter in the Spanish national team after being given the task of replacing Barcelona legend Xavi Hernandez in the midfield, but he has since displayed his talents for both club and the National team over the past few seasons.

For Spanish La Liga side Atletico Madrid, he has helped the Madrid-based team to two UEFA Champions League finals, a Spanish La Liga crown, a Spanish Cup and the UEFA Europa League while for his National team, Spain, he now has 36 caps to his name.

The Premier League Champions, are thought to be keen on Koke to bring some youthfulness and greater attacking skill in the midfield, while he also can as well slot into the defensive midfield role perfectly well which Chelsea manager Antonio Conte wants from his players.
