What’s the essence of keeping an unbeaten record in domestic Leagues and failed to qualify for Champions League knockout out round, that is surely the question Klopp is presently asking from his players who were defeated by PSG last night.

The Reds put themselves in a very difficult situation to make it out of their group in the European competition after an unexpected 2-1 defeat to Neymar-inspired Paris St-German at the Parc des Princes stadium.

At the start of the competition, the Reds were cruising after recording two wins in two games. They narrowly got over PSG at Anfield, before defeating Red Star Belgrade in a fashionable manner.

However, their slump and uninspiring performance in the UEFA Champions League competition began with a 1-0 defeat to Napoli last month.

Carlo Ancelotti’s men took the advantage of playing in front of their fans by edging the Reds by a lone goal.

As much as the result of the highly entertaining clash didn’t reflect the performances of both clubs, the Reds were made to pay for missing so many glorious opportunities.

The most shocking result of the campaign so far was seen at Anfield one the 6th of this month.

Jurgen Klopp’s men welcomed Red Star Belgrade to Anfield with the mindset of having a free ride to victory over the minnows just as they did in the reverse fixture which they won 4-0.

The Reds surprisingly conceded two goals in the first period of the game and they couldn’t reduce the deficit throughout the encounter.

The shock defeat to Red Star Belgrade means Klopp must defeat PSG at Parc des Princes stadium in France.

Having failed to get any meaningful result from last night’s game, the Anfield outfits must now defeat Napoli in the last group game of the competition.

Despite the fact that the Reds are going to take on the Serie A giants in England, Klopp must prepare his team psychologically and physically if he must progress out of the group.

Just like PSG some months back, Liverpool have failed to transfer their awesome domestic form to Champions League competition and that must change as soon as possible.

Napoli are in their best form at the moment, defeating the Naples would be a very huge task ahead of the Merseyside club.

Mane, Salah and Firmino were far from impressive throughout yesterday’s game, while Jordan Henderson was found wanting in his duties at the middle of the pitch.

Klopp must learn to shake things up at the middle as it appears that is the weakest point of his team.

Though the result certainly complicated issue fothe r Liverpool, Klopp still has a very slim chance of progressing to the next round of the competition but they would have to do it the hard way.

As it stands, Napoli are first in the group after defeating Red Star Belgrade Last night.

PSG now occupy the second position with 8 points following their 2-1 victory over the Reds

Liverpool are third on the log with 6 and must defeat Napoli in their next fixture.

Red Star Belgrade are ultimately out of the competition after their lost to Napoli.
