According to new reports, Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is set to approve the sale of the trio of Daley Blind, Matteo Darmian and Luke Shaw.
The Portuguese tactician is glaringly frustrated by his full-back options since he took over the mantle of leadership at Manchester United in 2016.
Veteran star player Antonio Valencia has fully made the right-back role wholly his, and there is little challenge to his place in the team.
Matteo Darmian has failed to impress the former Chelsea boss since Mourinho arrived Old Trafford last summer, and the manager even seems to prefer using a central defender like Eric Bailly in the rightback position instead of the Italian.
On the left, Jose has settled on Ashley Young as his favoured choice this term, and the 32-year-old is ahead of younger guys like Daley Blind and Luke Shaw in the pecking order.
And it was made known that the Portuguese manager wants to bring in new options at full-back, but must first allow the current ones leave the club.
The Telegraph report that Man United will listen to offers for Blind, Darmian and Shaw, although the trio are unlikely to be sold at once.
It was added that Mourinho would prefer to offload them in stages, and might sell one of them in the upcoming January transfer window.
The Old Trafford club have been linked with a handful of potential new full-backs including Tottenham’s Danny Rose.
