Premier League giant Arsenal have reportedly attempted to sign Chelsea youngster Charly Musonda after he allegedly told his club that he wants to leave, as per reports emanating from France.
Back in October, the wonderkid took aim at this club on Social media – Instagram over his lack of first-team action under manager Antonio Conte.
According to Foot Mercato, the 21-year-old wants to leave the West London club in January and has no plan to sign a deal extension, with his present contract set to run out later in June 2019.
The same publication also claims that the Gunners have been alerted to the youngster’s desire to leave his club and are prepared to make a solid offer for the Belgian star.
He has only been featured 26 minutes in the English Premier League this campaign and has started just two matches in the League Cup. Speaking after his rant’s on Instagram, Antonio Conte insisted that the midfield maestro would get his opportunity to impress at the Bridge.
The Chelsea manager said ‘I [Antonio Conte] spoke with him [Musonda] and I [Conte] think Charly understood his error.’
‘Honestly, I [Antonio Conte] think he [Musonda] has to continue working very hard to improve on his game, the physical aspect and tactically, but he [Musonda] is working very well.
