Chile goalkeeper reveal Arsenal star’s reaction after Man City move fell through – U’ll be shocked

Manchester City goalkeeper Claudio Bravo has disclosed that his National team colleague Alexis Sanchez was angry a transfer to the Etihad club fell through.

Pep Guardiola’s side had a £55million offer for the forward accepted on deadline day last week but Arsenal’s failure to sign a replacement saw the move collapse.

Manchester City goalkeeper Claudio Bravo was with Alexis Sanchez on international duty as at that time and saw his reaction.

The goalkeeper said they were talking in Chile and the Arsenal star went from happiness to bitterness in a few hours, although that’s all in the past now.

“The transfer (to City) didn’t happen (materialize) because a player (Lemar) didn’t go to Arsenal and everything collapsed (fell through).

Bravo said he would have loved to have the former Barcelona star at the Etihad, but he accepts the transfer market gives time limits, and the rush is not good. He, however, wish to have Sanchez at the club in the nearest future.

The Chile goalkeeper was speaking to journalists after being brought on to replace injured Ederson during his team’s 5-0 Premier League demolition of rivals Liverpool on Saturday.

The Chile international goalkeeper has started the new campaign on the bench following Man City’s £35million signing of Ederson from Portuguese side Benfica.

Ederson was injured in a collision with Liverpool winger Sadio Mane in the first half and had to be stretched off the pitch.
