According to reports, Chelsea controversial striker Diego Costa will commence peace talks with his club as he looks to save his FIFA World Cup hopes.
The ‘rebel’striker was unable to seal a transfer to La Liga side Atletico Madrid after both clubs could not agree a transfer fee.
But as per Daily Express, Costa is now willing to backtrack on his long-running feud with Chelsea FC.
The report states that friends of the Brazil-born Spaniard have urged him to go back to England and resolve his differences with the club.
And the resolution would also involve dropping legal action against the club over the transfer tussle.
The Spain international striker has been frozen out at the club since the end of last season when informed him his services were no longer required.
Costa then returned to his homeland of Legarto in his native Country Brazil and refused to attend pre-season training with his Chelsea teammates.
It seemed an end to the messy saga was close, with the striker potentially returning to Atletico Madrid.
But after a transfer move could not be agreed, Chelsea opted to include him in their 25-man English Premier League squad list.
The former Athletico Madrid striker would have to wait until January at least to return to his former club but knows he must stay fully fit if there is any chance of a transfer.
