As per reports emanating out of England via top news outlet The Daily Mail, Chelsea outcast Diego Costa has returned to the City of London today, home of Chelsea FC.

The want-away striker has been out of favor with the Chelsea manager after his outspoken public outbursts and forced summer transfer to former club Atletico Madrid.

Blues head coach Antonio Conte is believed to have forgotten about the striker, as he continues to work diligently to prepare his side for both the hectic new season where his team will challenge for the Premier League title and UEFA Champions Leagues.

The Spain international striker has been in homeland Brazil for the past couple of months, after reportedly submitting his transfer request to the West London club.

It’s believed that the Brazil born Spaniard is returning to the City of London to start training with the reserve team, as a January move out of England seems sure.

Antonio Conte’s side were unable to agree terms with La Liga side Atletico Madrid during the recently closed summer transfer window, with negotiations likely to resume soon.

The transfer saga has been a sad story for the controversial striker, who on a good day is one of the world football’s most prolific forward. His bravery and strength make him a formidable striker, and his goal scoring instinct makes the striker a worthwhile option for any side that needs a good goalscorer.
