Liverpool Swoop In To Sign Samba Star Ahead Of Italian Giants

PSG shook the world by completing a £197Million deal for Brazilian superstar Neymar from Barcelona. And as expected, the French club should be looking to offloading a number of their players to get their books balanced.

One of the players who had been linked with a move away from the club is Lucas Moura, and there are reports that Moura is disappointed by the arrival of his fellow countryman Neymar and is now asking questions about his future at the Paris club.

And according to Le Parisien, both Liverpool and AS Roma are following Lucas’ situation at PSG and have the interest to get his signature.

It is understood that Moura will be available for a fee close to £27M, and the Daily Star made it known that even Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal are also linked with the Brazilian striker.

Moura is a talented player and a versatile star that can play both on the wings or as an attacking midfielder. But despite being a highly rated player, he has fallen behind superstars like Neymar in the pecking order at the Paris club. And he is looking to leave the club this summer.

Several years ago, Lucas turned down Man Utd to join PSG from Sao Paulo in a deal worth around £40M.

But perhaps he is destined to play in the premier league, with Liverpool reportedly keen on bringing him to England this summer.
