After Ake’s Move – Another Chelsea Star Set To Leave Stamford Bridge This Summer

Although Chelsea are yet to make a major signing this summer, some of their stars are already making moves away from Stamford Bridge ahead of next season.

A few hours ago, Nathan Ake completed a move to Bournemouth, and right now, there are reports that another youngster Nathaniel Chalobah is ready to reject a new deal and seek a transfer away from Chelsea ahead of talks with the club over his future this week.

Chalobah has excelled at the European Under-21 Championships this summer as well as in previous campaigns out on loan from Stamford Bridge and now desire playing regularly at the top level.

And it is understood that clubs like Napoli, Sevilla, and Leicester City were interested in the 22-year-old last summer, but the Stamford Bridge club turned down loan bids from them as they rate him higher.

With regards to report from Independent, the player now feels he needs more assurances from Chelsea and may seek a permanent move away if he cannot be given more playing time at the club.

Chalobah is a versatile talent who can play in defence or midfield, but with the expected arrival of the likes of Tiemoue Bakayoko, Antonio Rudiger, and Alex Sandro, it might be the best choice to move away from Stamford Bridge.
