Napoli now ready for talks with Man United over star defender

There is no doubt that English Premier League outfit Man United will be engaging in the coming summer transfer window and they have defensive additions as a major priority.

The Red Devils have now been given a boost as they are told that their long-term target and Italian Serie A outfit Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly would now be available for sale.

The Red Devils have long been linked with the star defender especially with former manager Jose Mourinho insisting on his signature in the last summer transfer window but the deal was not sanctioned by the club.

More so, the Italian Serie A outfit have earlier refused to release the star defender with the club president admitting that he had learned of the interest from Man United but he was not ready to let the player leave.

However, Napoli seems to have shifted ground as they now claim, according to report that Kalidou Koulibaly will be available but the Red Devils must be ready to meet with the asking price of £90 million before he can be allowed to leave.

Meanwhile, there are suggestions that the money could be too high for the Red Devils to afford because of their limited budget and the need for more additions.
