Chelsea Will Sign Unsettled Icardi On One Condition

Inter Milan Mauro Icardi is one of the most talked about footballers at the moment after his recent ordeal at his club.

His struggles at Inter Milan have led to transfer rumours of a move away from the San Siro with clubs like European champions Real Madrid, Italian Serie A champions Juventus and West London outfit, Chelsea.

Mauro Icardi was stripped of the Inter Milan captaincy last week Wednesday and was swiftly replaced by goalkeeper Samir Handanovic with many citing his contract standoff at the club as the problem.

Inter Milan, however, insist that the captaincy decision is not connected with his contractual situation at the club.

Icardi, 25, still has over two years on his current contract at the San Siro.

Football London claim that Chelsea can only sign Mauro Icardi on one condition and that it’s not unconnected with Blues boss Maurizio Sarri.

It was revealed that Mauro Icardi to Chelsea transfer won’t be possible if Sarri stays on and vice versa.

Italian tactician Sarri is under a lot of pressure after results nosedived at Chelsea under his watch.

It was revealed that Chelsea will sign Gonzalo Higuain permanently in the summer if Sarri survives the axe and that Chelsea will move for a younger striker in Icardi in the summer if Sarri is sacked.

Higuain is on a short-term loan at Chelsea until the end of the season and the Blues have an option to make the deal permanent for €36m.
