Why summer transfer success lies in the hands of the management

Former Arsenal star David Seaman has already warned the club management that the success of the team in the coming season has a lot to do with the transfer activity by manager Unai Emery in the summer transfer window.

It has already been reported that the Spanish boss will have only 40 million euros to engage in the summer transfer window but according to the Arsenal legend, more is needed to be able to transform the team.

He noted that Arsenal must take advantage of this crucial transfer window, stressing that more money should be given to the former PSG boss to be able to bring in quality players.

The former Arsenal goalkeeper noted that the club have been battling with defensive issues for the past 3 years but that has not been attended to, which to him is unfortunate.

The season that just ended gives a clue of the needs of the Arsenal team which includes strengthening the defense, a box-to-box midfielder, and a goalscoring striker.

However, the club chiefs have vowed to give support to the Arsenal boss but they are yet to make any claim on the amount that would be given to him to engage in the summer transfer market.
