Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has agreed to complete the transfer of another talented forward ahead of Arsenal’s pre-season tour.
Arsenal did transfer transactions with German side Wolfsburg last season as Serge Gnabry moved to the Bundesliga after an impressive outing at the 2016 Olympic games.
And almost a year later, another transfer has been agreed with the German Bundesliga side as Arsene Wenger looks to reduce his squad before the new season.
Kaylen Hinds, who consistently featured for the Gunner’s youth team, has been allowed to move to Wolfsburg on a three-year deal for a transfer fee of £2million.
The exit of Hinds comes after Chris Willock was also handed the go ahead to move to Portuguese heavyweight Benfica just over a week ago.
The young forward has been pictured training with his new team where former Gunner Freddie Ljunberg is employed as the assistant head coach.
Though his exit will not be as keenly felt like that of the highly-rated Chris Willock, who allowed his deal to run down before joining Portuguese side Benfica, it is another instance of a youngster concluding that his progress is not best served at the North London club.
It is the responsibility of Per Mertesacker to put that trend when he becomes the Academy coach at the end of next season, with Luke Hobbs set to continue for the time being.
