Why Arsenal are handed second, last chance for star player

There are indications that English Premier League outfit Arsenal will have their second opportunity, which could also be the last to land their star target and French Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint Germain player Christopher Nkunku in the coming summer transfer window.

Christopher Nkunku has longed been linked with a move to the North London outfit as he was expected to move into the Emirates Stadium in the last winter transfer window with the Gunners already making their interest known.

A deal failed to work through as the Gunners had no funds to seal any major deal. This ensured the stay of the player in Paris.

It has now been confirmed that PSG are willing to part ways with the player and several others on the team with the hope of cashing in on them because of their need of funds as a club.

Arsenal manager Unai Emery had expected Christopher Nkunku to join the club as a replacement for Wales international Aaron Ramsey. Now that it is confirmed that Ramsey would be leaving the club to Juventus, the Gunners will have the opportunity to land the midfielder.

With PSG desperate to part ways with him, there are indications that he could be snapped up by other clubs should the Gunners fail to move in.
