Why Alexis Sanchez is still not giving his best

Chile international Alexis Sanchez has not been the good player he was when he was at his former clubs Arsenal and Spanish side Barcelona.

The drop in his quality started dropping immediately he dumped the North London outfit to join Manchester United in last year’ January winter transfer window.

It was earlier suggested that the defensive approach of the former manager Jose Mourinho was the reason for his poor form but that cannot be said with the new attacking and free playing style under the new interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

So far, Alexis Sanchez has only had three starts under the former United forward and his former boss Arsene Wenger thinks he has no complaints about his woes.

Wenger stated that Alexis Sanchez has lost his place because he plays in the same position as Anthony Martial who is in a better form and has the ability to deliver more than the Chile international.

The former Arsenal boss said Alexis Sanchez is left with no choice than to do more to beat the competition or remain on the bench as a substitute player.

Meanwhile, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made it clear that he has nothing to do about Alexis Sanchez’s case because of the better player in his position.
