La Liga giant finally rejects Chelsea star
Reports from Spain have confirmed that La Liga giants Barcelona have announced they are not interested in signing Chelsea defender David Luiz.
The Brazilian has recently been linked with a move to the Catalan club according to the media, however, it is understood that they have no interest in bringing him to the Nou Camp.
The defender has sealed his position as one of Chelsea’s new coach favourite player as he has paired with Antonio Rudiger in the heart of the Chelsea defense where he has featured him regularly this campaign.
David Luiz is one of the players that has spoken highly of Maurizio Sarri on many occasions this season and has praised him for the way he has helped the team to perform this term.
The London side have not lost any game in the Premier League this season and sits just two points behind leaders Manchester City.
The player who is at a second coming at the club after he departed some seasons ago to France capital to ply his trade at Paris Saint German was resigned back to the club last season by Antonio Conte has found live even more comfortable under new coach Maurizio Sarri .
Barcelona’s arch-rivals Real Madrid have also been impressed with the form of Luiz and have been linked with a move.
Sarri’s men will go up against BATE Borisov in the Europa League tomorrow evening.
