Liverpool lost to Tottenham Hotspur in the premier league last weekend and are now 12 points behind in-form Manchester City who are sitting on top of the table.
Many people already think Jurgen Klopp should forget about the premier league title as far as this season is concerned, but should put his attention to finishing in the top four.
And as far as the transfers are concerned at Anfield, Liverpool desperately need to add more power to their defense. After nine games so far this term in the premier league, they have conceded lots of goals and their goal difference is currently minus two.
However, if the latest reports are anything to go by, it appears Barcelona’s Gerard Deulofeu will be coming over to Anfield anytime soon following his links with the Merseyside club.
Spanish news outlet Don Balon claimed the player has not been able to convince Barcelona’s new boss Valverde, and the manager wants to send him over to Anfield in a bid to bring in Philippe Coutinho.
Deulofeu is renowned for his speed and trickery, and the report also added that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has the interest to bring in the player.
The Spanish international has regularly started for Barcelona this season in the absence of summer signing Ousmane Dembele who is currently out with an injury. In 10 games, he has scored twice and provided an assist.
His current contract with the Catalan giants will expire in 2019, and it was made known that he has a release clause of €20 million on his deal.
