West Ham submit proposal after Arsenal contact player

London outfit West Ham United are reported to have submitted an offer for SD Eiber player Joan Jordan in a bid to secure his signature ahead of the summer transfer window.

The bid from the London outfit is coming after Arsenal made contacted the player for a potential move to the Emirates Stadium.

Joan Jordan’s contract with SD Eiber will be running out in 2020 and there is yet to be talks of renewal despite delivering good performances in the 38 games under his belt, scoring four goals and a number of assists.

The race for the 24-year-old remains a real battle as West Ham United and Arsenal are not alone in the race. Spanish La Liga outfits Sevilla and Valencia are also reported to have indicated interest.

For Arsenal, the deal is to have Wales international Aaron Ramsey replaced after he agreed to join the Italian Serie A outfit Juventus on a four-year deal.

Joan Jordan has got a buyout clause of £15 million which also makes it affordable for the Gunners, knowing that they have got limited transfer budget to engage with, in the summer transfer window.
Unai Emery has got just £40 million to buy players, according to reports in this transfer window.
