Uncertainties arise over who will put on Liverpool No 1 Jersey
The Liverpool squad is in a new dilemma over the goalkeeper that will adorn the No.1 shirt in the coming season.
This latest issue arises between Karius and new signing Alisson Becker.
The Brazil international arrived at Anfield in a mouth-watering deal which saw him as the highest paid goalkeeper in the world.
As expected, it is known that Alisson will take over Liverpool shirt No.1 especially with the huge payment involved in his signing.
But it looks as if Karius is not willing to let go of the Shirt No.1 as it has become one of his major titles on his social media handles and he has gone as far as adding a crest of the No on his car.
However, the Former Roma goalkeeper insisted he will take over the shirt No 1 from Karius very soon.
Liverpool goalkeeper, Karius will not be forgotten for his poor performance in the UEFA Champions League final against Real Madrid which saw the Reds losing the trophy to Madrid.
The final decision as to who will finally adorn the No.1 shirt will be confirmed by the Reds management, but it is believed it would be in favour of Becker.
As Liverpool had earlier stated they will sell one of Karius or Simeon Mignolet should there be a lucrative offer.
