Edinson Cavani

It is claimed that English Premier League outfit Man United have returned to the French Ligue 1 outfit for the signature of Edinson Cavani in the coming summer transfer window.

The Red Devils had earlier stepped forward with an offer for Edinson Cavani some five years ago but he turned down the deal and had a £55 million move from the Italian Serie A outfit Napoli to Paris.

However, the Red Devils are now ready to try their luck again as they have learned that Edinson Cavani is now ready to have a taste of the English Premier League. He is yet to land any offer since giving the hint with the Red Devils bring the first to show big interest in his signature.

The Red Devils will only be faced with the challenge of not securing qualification to the Champions League next season, as it is obvious that Edinson Cavani will not want to play in a club without European football.

Man United are now below the top-four after their series of defeats while they have been left out of the Champions League in the quarter-finals by Spanish La Liga outfit Barcelona.

It is yet to be seen if any other top-four side will seek for the signature of the goal-scoring striker because he seems to be keen on a move to the English Premier League before he rounds up his football career.
