According to Italian media reports, Arsenal have joined Premier League clubs like Liverpool and Chelsea in the race to land Jorginho from Serie A side Napoli this summer window.

Premier League trio want Italian

As cited by Metro, three top Premier League clubs are keeping close tabs on the exciting midfielder ahead of the summer window.

The same report also carries quotes from the player’s representative Joao Santos, who said that reigning league champions Manchester City, along with Chelsea and Liverpool, have all made serious enquiries about the player’s availability.

Top quality midfielder

The 26-year-old has been in solid form for the Italian side this term and has netted two goals and created four assists in 32 Serie A matches for the club.

The same report suggests that the defensive midfielder is valued at about £60million by the Italian side ahead of the summer window.

The Gunners are likely to be in the market for a number of new recruits as they get set for life after manager Arsene Wenger.

The Blues, who take on the Red Devils in the Emirates FA Cup final on Saturday afternoon, are also going to look to strengthen their team after a disappointing season.
