Sarri takes swipe at Arsenal, says his side are better

Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has taken swipe at his London rivals Arsenal, stating that his side are a better team than the North London outfit but they are still more criticized.

He made this claim after their 3-0 victory over Malmo in the Europa League tie on Thursday night as he prepares also for the clash against Man City in the EFL Cup final on Sunday.

The Blues team under the Italian boss has been heavily criticized especially with the nature of defeats they suffered this season.

He noted that he is aware of how fans and pundits praise the Arsenal team which ought not to be more than his team, explaining that he shares the same point with the Gunners, his side are in the EFL Cup finals which Arsenal are absent to prove that his side are better so far this season.

Sarri added that he had taken over Chelsea after they finished fifth last season and did not win a championship which means he is not an underperformer.

However, there are fears that the Italian boss would be sacked if he fails to see a win against Man City on Saturday in additions to the next two high profile games ahead of them.
