Revealed, German midfielder would have been a Gunner

It has been revealed that Germany midfielder Sami Khedira would have been an Arsenal player today but a deal to have him failed in the summer as he remained with Juventus.

A report according to Calciomercato revealed that Arsenal are not the only club that missed out on the player with Manchester United also reported to have submitted a bid for him.

It is worthy of note that the North London side are Sami Khedira’s long term’s suitors with former manager Arsene Wenger making efforts to have him at the Emirates Stadium while he was a Real Madrid player but eventually, a deal failed to fall through.

But the Gunners with new manager Unai Emery made another effort in the summer with the hope that a deal will fall through knowing that former Liverpool player Emre Can had joined the Old Ladies and the former Real Madrid man might not have the playing time at the club.

But he is unconcerned about the threat of not having enough playing time and signed a new deal with the club.

Meanwhile, the North London side have since moved on with the capture of Lucas Torreira from Italian side Sampdoria and he has proven to be a good buy.
