Nemanja Matic Keen On Man United Move After Talks With Chelsea

It appears Chelsea star player Nemanja Matic is determined to play at Old Trafford next season following his commitments to reunite with his former manager Jose Mourinho at Man United.

There are reports that the defensive midfielder has held talks with his club and his own reps about fast-tracking his potential transfer to Old Trafford.

Matic has been linked with a departure from Chelsea for much of this summer due to the club’s desire to bring in Monaco’s Tiemoue Bakayoko ahead of next season.

Since Bakayoko recently signed for Chelsea, Nemanja is said to desire an assurance over his future and would want everything resolved over the weekend.

Jose Mourinho is still in need of a strong defensive midfielder in his squad and he desire bringing in Matic to join him at Man United.

Italian giants Inter Milan have also been linked with the Serbia international in the last few days, but the midfielder is more likely to remain in England.

It was also suggested that Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, considering how busy his side will be next season, might decide keeping Matic at Chelsea even if he won’t be a first choice in every game.

Nevertheless, the Daily Mail insist the player wants to push through a move to Man United and has met with his current side to speed things along.
