Chelsea In Pole Position To Sign La Liga Star
Premier League giants Chelsea are said to be the overwhelming favourites to sign highly rated Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez when the transfer window reopens in few weeks time.
Denis Suarez has been on the fringes of the first team at the Nou Camp and he’s available for a transfer out of Barcelona.
Italian news portal calciomercato claim that the Blues are the frontrunners for the 24-year-old ahead of seven-time European champions AC Milan.
The Italians are only interested in a loan move for the Spaniard with Barcelona only interested in a permanent transfer for him.
A transfer fee of around €40m would be enough for the Blaugrana to let him leave the club during the January transfer window.
Chelsea can conveniently afford the transfer fee thus putting them in command as regards the pursuit of Denis Suarez.
New Blues’ boss Maurizio Sarri is a big admirer of Denis Suarez who came close to joining Napoli on two occasions while the Italian tactician was in charge of the Italian club.
Napoli also retain an interest in Denis Suarez but they are behind both Chelsea and AC Milan.
Spanish La Liga giants Valencia are also in the running for him ahead of the upcoming transfer window.
