Arsenal legend Ray Parlour has stated that Unai Emery is playing a dangerous game by not fielding German international Mesut Ozil in games.
It is no longer news that the Spanish boss and the German player have fallen out with Unai Emery not giving playing time to Mesut Ozil.
Unai Emery has cited the lack of good performance by the former Real Madrid player as reasons why he has not been having on his starting XI with speculations that Ozil is being pushed out of the club by the manager.
Ray Parlour is of the opinion that Unai Emery could be a victim of the power held by certain players including Mesut Ozil to have him sacked as it has been seen in other clubs like United.
He recalled that Neymar got Unai Emery sacked at the French Ligue 1 outfit PSG and there could be a repeat of it in his spell at the North London outfit.
However, there are calls for calm between the manager and the player with pundits holding the opinion that Mesut Ozil be handed a second chance while the manager should do more to have faith in him.
Meanwhile, the Gunners are struggling to secure a Champions League slot with a top four finish.
