Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha has been identified to replace Chile international forward Alexis Sanchez at North London club Arsenal.
The former Barcelona forward is expected to depart the North London club in the winter transfer window or next summer window after failing to renew his Arsenal contract.
And Arsenal tactician Arsene Wenger could make a winter move for £35million-rated Wilfried Zaha.
Crystal Palace’s Superstar signed a new five-year contract in the summer window and would be switching a relegation battling side for an English Premier League title race if he joins Arsenal.
The Sun is claiming the Eagles are keen on keeping Zaha, who has netted two goals this season so far.
Zaha has been made to play as an emergency forward in the absence of the Christian Benteke, but is likely to switch to the flanks when the Belgian returns against Merseyside club Everton on Saturday.
The Former Manchester United man has been tracked by Spurs and Arsenal before now, and his good early season form could see Crystal Palace fend off more interested clubs in January.
Alexis Sanchez, who signed for Arsenal back in 2014, was close to joining Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City side last summer and is expected to leave the North London club Emirates in January with his deal end running out at the end of the ongoing campaign.
