Arsenal Wants To Sign Bundesliga Midfielder After Talks With Arsene Wenger

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has spoken with Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita over a potential summer move, according to reports.

The 22-year-old midfielder has been a key figure at the Bundesliga side that has shocked everyone with their performance so far this season. There have been speculations over his future at the club as a host of clubs in Europe as said to be circling round his signature.

Liverpool are believed to considering a summer move for Keita with suggestions that Reds boss Jurgen Klopp views him as a quality addition to his current squad.

Reports in Sport Witness claim that Arsenal have approached the midfielder with regards to a potential summer move as he is considered to a be an ideal midfielder that could add steel to the Gunners’ midfield.

Speaking about the possibility of a summer move, the midfielder once said: “I am here now and feel very comfortable. There are still three games, that’s what I concentrate on.

My consultant takes care of everything else. When it’s time, I’ll discuss it with him and my family.”

Not exactly committing his future to the German side.

The report also claim that Naby Keita has a release clause in his contract with Leipzig but cannot be triggered until 2018. It is also understood that the club is ready to sell him for an astronomical fee this summer in order to avoid selling him for cheap next season when his release clause is active.
